ANIMAL CARETAKER & MAINTENANCE JOB DESCRIPTION

• (One part time position with opportunity to be full time in 90 days with benefits
• 30 hour work week to start

• URGENTLY HIRING

• ) Some duties include: Animal Care routines, health checks and observation Feed all animals Clean all habitats Adjusting daily routine if weather changes Make feed recipes and keep organized Grounds Keeper & Repairs Working with and around large farm animals Daily logs and activity reports Create Habitats, Coops & Enclosures Inventory Food & Med Supplies Daily sweeping and mopping, dusting and thorough cleaning of common area Hauling debris and trash Must have dependable transportation Team player Background Check is Required Our animal care population includes mostly cows and chickens but we have several goats, lambs, pigs, horses, ducks, and a turkey.

Must be highly organized, a team player with a good attitude, flexible, efficient, strong (the ability to lift 50# feed sacks and square bales), and have a passion for animal care, and cleanliness. Vet tech experience a huge plus! Also must be able to drive a Kawasaki Mule, learn to operate tractors, and other small hand tools. This position is primarily and outdoor job so you must be able to work in different weather. Must be willing to work various

which is near Luling/Bastrop/Lockhart, and not too far from San Antonio and Austin.
