This position is a part time position as a sitter working outdoors in our play yard with our Daycare and Boarding dogs at our Willis facility. Hours are 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm every Friday and Saturday including on Friday/Saturdays that fall on a holiday(with holiday pay offered the day of the holiday and up to two days before and after the holiday. Holiday pay is an extra $5 per dog on your schedule per day.) Additional shifts to assist other sitters on other days may be available but are not required or guaranteed. Each 3 hour period involves letting all the dogs out(up to 30) to play outside, supervising their play, providing them their breakfast/dinner according to their written instructions, and ensuring a clean and safe work and play environment. Pay is hourly and starts at $12hr plus tips, but raises are available as early as 30 days based off of additional training recieved on site. Preferred applicants are able to work in the Texas heat and cold for up to three hours at a time, have reliable transportation to and from our site, have past experience with multiple dogs and other pets, have the patience needed for proper care of dogs, but also the ability to seperate dogs with particular behaviors and use a stern voice when exercising a dogs training.
