Job Description
- Experienced Dog Groomer
- Bark Avenue Dog Grooming & Boarding is looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our team.
Requirements:
- Previous professional dog grooming experience required
- Strong scissor finishing and breed-standard knowledge preferred
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Must communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and coworkers
- Reliability, cleanliness, and attention to detail are a must
- Must be coachable and willing to learn, adapt, and accept constructive criticism in order to maintain our high grooming standards

- Pay is commission-based, with percentage depending on experience
- Groomers will be started at a manageable pace while learning our systems and standards, with schedules and client load increasing quickly as consistency, quality, and efficiency are demonstrated We are not looking for someone who simply "gets dogs done.
