Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trimming
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
• Handle animals with care and compassion, using proper restraint techniques when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners
• Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any abnormalities to management
• Stay up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques and trends in the industry

Skills:

• Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures is a plus
• Ability to provide gentle animal restraint when necessary
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
• Knowledge of pet care, including nutrition, exercise, and basic health needs
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services
