IS A WEEKEND POSITION

Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed, ensuring all pets are comfortable and well-cared-for. Engage in dog handling and training activities to promote good behavior and socialization among canine guests. Perform animal restraint tasks to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards. Monitor pet behavior continuously, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and communicate with staff when necessary. Maintain clean and organized kennels, play areas, and common spaces to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with pet sitting duties outside of boarding hours, offering companionship and enrichment activities. Support with basic animal health checks and record keeping when required. Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, kennel work, or animal care is highly preferred. Familiarity with dog training techniques and animal restraint methods is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or large animals. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Demonstrated animal handling skills with patience, compassion, and attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and animal welfare standards.
