Job Description

URGENTLY
looking for dog people to fill full routes in Arlington county. We offer schedules that are consistent each week, the opportunity to earn raises and bonuses, all human and dog clients are vetted in person by a professional trainer, and we are hiring immediately. Walkers must be available from at least 11-3, M-F . Back-up walkers must be available during these same times but will only be asked to work as needed. Sitters may host dogs or stay in the dogs' homes. Six month commitment for full-time walkers requested. Company provides great training opportunities and a flexible, friendly work environment. To be considered, please send us a resume AND a brief note explaining whether you: have experience with dogs are able to pass a complete background check own a reliable, insured car and have a valid driver's license (driving your car is required) own a reliable smartphone have reliable access to the internet and be willing to access it at least twice daily reside within fifteen miles of Arlington County, are willing to commit to at least six months, preferably longer. Without answering the above you will not be considered. Compensation averages between $18-$24/hr or more; after hours, weekends and holidays are paid at time and a half and tips are 100% yours. We prefer that you have a dog and that you have an interest in learning about dog training, health and nutrition. Applicants with a background in vet-tech, dog training or other professional pet care experience will be given preference.
