Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Grooming Salon Manager to lead our grooming team and ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners. This role combines leadership, animal handling expertise, and customer service to create a welcoming environment where pets receive top-quality grooming and care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animals, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the grooming salon, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of pet care Manage scheduling, assign grooming tasks, and supervise grooming staff to maintain efficiency and quality Ensure all pets are handled with gentle restraint techniques, animal handling skills, and proper safety protocols Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining grooming procedures, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the grooming area in compliance with health regulations Assist with pet care activities such as pet sitting, dog training, or veterinary-related tasks when needed Train and mentor team members on pet grooming techniques, animal restraint, and customer interaction Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in pet grooming, dog training, or veterinary settings Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of heavy lifting duties related to pet care supplies or equipment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience with kennel management or pet sitting enhances your ability to care for diverse animals Familiarity with pet grooming tools, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude Join us at A Glawmorous Pet Pawlor to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding pet grooming services!
