  • Part-time Part-Time / Seasonal (Now-August) Primarily Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays Potential for additional shifts if interested Job Overview We're a warm, upbeat, dog-centered grooming salon looking for a kind, reliable, and energetic Receptionist/Bather to join our team for the summer season.

This role is ideal for someone looking for weekend work, summer employment, or hands-on experience in the pet care industry. Reception Responsibilities Greet pet parents in a friendly and welcoming way Check pets in/out and process payments Schedule appointments and update client/pet records Answer phones and assist clients with questions about services and policies Help maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area Bathing Responsibilities Bathe, dry, brush, and comb dogs using gentle, kind handling Safely work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Identify mats, tangles, or skin concerns and communicate with groomers Properly mix products and sanitize tubs, kennels, tools, and equipment Ensure pets remain supervised, comfortable, and stress-free throughout their visit We are a kindness-based, fear-free inspired salon, so patience, compassion, and calm handling are extremely important to us. What We're Looking For Friendly, positive attitude Reliable and punctual Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and personalities Team player who communicates well and supports others Able to stay productive during slower periods Quick learner who is open to feedback and training Physically able to lift 50-60 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be 18+ due to safety requirements and the nature of the work Must not have allergies to dogs/fur/dander Preferred (but not required) Reception or customer service experience Dog bathing, grooming support, kennel, daycare, or animal care experience Pay & Perks Training pay: $14/hr Post-training pay: $15.50
  • 16/hr depending on experience and skills Tips available (front desk + bathing) Free monthly self-wash for your own pets Supportive team environment with hands-on experience in the grooming industry If you're hardworking, compassionate, and love being around dogs all day, we'd love to hear from you!
