Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Dog Groomer to join our team. This role requires weekend availability and has strong potential to grow into a full-time position as our grooming client base expands. This is an ideal opportunity for a groomer who takes pride in their work, values a calm environment, and wants to build lasting relationships with both dogs and their owners. Responsibilities Perform full grooms from start to finish Bathe, dry, brush, and style dogs according to breed standards or client requests Complete nail trims, ear cleaning, and basic hygiene services Ensure each dog remains calm, safe, and comfortable throughout the grooming process Communicate with staff and clients about grooming needs and observations Maintain a clean and organized personal workspace during the day (End-of-day cleaning is handled by support staff) What Makes This Role Different No pressure to rush or overbook— we focus on quality care Support staff handles end-of-day cleaning so you can focus on grooming Calm, structured environment designed to reduce stress for dogs Opportunity to grow into a full-time position Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience Ability to complete grooms independently from start to finish Strong handling skills and a gentle, patient approach Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Weekend availability is required
