Experienced Dog Groomer

Full-Time or Part-Time Dog's Day Inn is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing a positive grooming experience for every pet. We value quality over quantity and are looking for a groomer who shares that philosophy. Responsibilities Perform professional pet grooming services, including bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, clipping, scissoring, and styling various breeds. Maintain a clean and safe work environment Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring a gentle yet firm approach to reduce stress for anxious or difficult dogs Handle pets with patience and care Communicate effectively with pet owners and staff regarding grooming needs and expectations Ensure each groom meets high-quality standards Qualifications Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles. Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes with patience and confidence Knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint methods to ensure safety at all times Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Strong scissoring and finishing skills Excellent attention to detail Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Compensation & Benefits 50% commission on all grooming services Cash tips Holiday bonus One week paid vacation after one year of employment Flexible scheduling Supportive work environment

Schedule Full-Time:

5 days per week

Part-Time:
