Your skills in animal handling, pet care, and customer service will shine as you deliver top-quality grooming with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed, size, and individual needs Handle dogs with care and confidence, ensuring their safety through proper animal restraint techniques Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care and maintenance Monitor dogs during grooming for signs of distress or health issues, escalating concerns as needed Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training or basic veterinary support when necessary Support team efforts by participating in kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or other animal care duties as assigned Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, with a strong understanding of dog handling and animal restraint techniques Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles, especially related to animal care and health monitoring Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in heavy lifting during grooming or kennel duties Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members Experience working with animals such as dogs, demonstrating strong animal handling capabilities Prior experience is required A genuine passion for animal welfare combined with a proactive attitude toward pet care Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
