How We Operate:
We pride ourselves on putting quality over quantity, and do our best to keep our ratio in both daycare and boarding to 1 person per 12-15 dogs. All dogs have to pass the same thorough behavioral assessment even if they are only interested in boarding. This position includes overseeing and maintaining safe dog play, feeding and medicating boarding dogs, interacting with dog owners, and general cleaning. Since this position is part of our boarding department, we do require working holidays.
Duties:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a kennel free setting, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Feed dogs according to their specific dietary needs and administer medications if required
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, including cleaning up after dogs
- Assist with bathing of dogs as needed
- Auditing and updating our computer software for anything that might have been missed during the day
Schedule:
We offer a unique schedule that allows for every other Friday-Sunday off, giving you 5 days off in a row for each 2 week period while maintaining 35/hrs per week.
Monday/Tuesday:
9pm-7am Every other
Friday-Sunday:
9pm-7am
Pay:
Our pay range is based on experience, and we may pay higher for candidates who hold a training certification. Since we are kennel free, reliability is extremely important, because of this we offer a $2/hour reliability bonus for being on time and having perfect attendance (or pto to cover call outs) in a pay period. Unlimited unpaid time off.
Requirements:
Preferred:
1 year experience working with groups of off leash dogs in a professional setting. Ability to work every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Comfortable and confident working with groups of dogs of all sizes and breeds, including being alone with up to 15 dogs. Must be able to work holidays Reliability! Due to our kennel free environment we can not accommodate excessive call outs or tardiness. Ability to lift 50lbs. Must be 18 years or older.
