Job Description

Searching for Our Mary Poppins of Dog Grooming ✂️ Remember how the Banks children wrote a very specific list describing the nanny they wanted? We're doing the same — because we're looking for our Mary Poppins. Naturally, a groomer capable of all this magic deserves compensation that's just as lovely—so here's what that looks like: Full groom (1-25 lbs): $45
  • 50 (before tips) Full groom (26-70 lbs): $55
  • 72.50 (before tips) Full groom (71+ lbs): $82.50
  • 90 (before tips) For context, our current groomer can complete a typical mixed 6-hour day of 1 large, 2 medium, and 2 small full grooms—earning approximately $280
  • 335 in commission, plus an additional ~$85
  • 100 in tips.
Additional bonuses for:
Client referrals Rebooking & retention Strong communication & consistency While the compensation is sweet, it takes a 'spoonful of sugar' attitude to truly thrive here. Here is what that looks like in action: Our Mary Poppins in Action Sends same-day photo updates clients adore Keeps thoughtful notes so every dog gets consistent care Proactively confirms appointments and fills cancellations Uses downtime productively—like a quick nail trim for a daycare dog. Maintains a calm, predictable grooming flow dogs trust Notices when regular clients disappear and reaches out Honors a consistent schedule so clients know when to book This is relationship-based grooming, not conveyor-belt grooming.
