Dog Groomer

Looking for an experienced and qualified Dog Groomer for our express service dog grooming salon. Two years of experience grooming dogs is required

• must have knowledge of various breed styles and standards, as well as a thorough understanding of animal behavior.

Our salon is fast-paced; must be skilled at multi-tasking. Applicants should physically be able to handle dogs up to 60+ pounds, while being able to be gentle with difficult dogs. Candidates should have a positive attitude with coworkers in our well-established team. Must be professional when communicating with clients. Compensation is commission + 100% tips. Full-time is preferred, but part-time is also an option.

Responsibilities:

• Groom five dogs per day.
• Complete full haircut packages. This includes a bath, brush out, nail clip, pad shave, foot trim, sanitary trim, anal gland expression, ear cleaning/plucking, and all-over haircut.
• Attend to self-wash and walk-in customers.
• Answer phones to schedule appointments and answer questions.
• Keep shop tidy, cycle laundry, and sanitize throughout the day.
