Dog Groomer - Part Time (Sunday and Monday)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services. Your expertise in animal handling and care will contribute to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. We are hiring for part-time groomer for any of the following days, which would be around 20 hours of work a week, plus any shift pick ups:

• Sunday
• Monday
• Picking up shifts for other groomers that call out If interested, you'll conduct a grooming technical with our grooming lead to assess your skills, and if everything looks good, we're happy to have you start as soon as you can!

Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health issues. Provide basic pet care services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. Handle pets with care, using appropriate techniques to minimize stress during grooming. Assist in managing appointments and maintaining schedules for grooming services. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the grooming salon. Qualifications 2+ years experience in pet grooming

• be able to provide a portfolio of your work at interview Strong skills in dog handling, training, and overall pet care are essential.

Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50+ pounds when handling larger animals or equipment. Work in a loud environment and handle physically challenging labor Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements is a plus. Excellent communication skills with team and pet owners are required. A compassionate approach towards animals combined with patience and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
