Job Description

Start your day doing meaningful, hands-on work with animals. PawsVIP, Seattle's largest and most trusted pet hotel, is growing, and we're looking for a dependable and motivated Early Morning Pet Care Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, works well in a busy environment, and genuinely cares about the comfort, safety, and well-being of pets. The shift begins at 5:00AM , so reliable early morning availability is essential. What You Can Expect A fast-moving workday spent caring for dogs and cats Hands-on experience in a leading Seattle pet care facility Supportive training to help you become confident in the role Opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow with the company Competitive hourly pay, client tips, and performance-based bonuses, with potential earnings of $30+/hour What We're Looking For Consistent availability from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Strong reliability and punctuality Previous customer service experience Ability to safely lift 30-50 pounds Comfortable staying on your feet and working in a physically active role Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks Calm and confident around dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments Previous experience in pet care, dog daycare, boarding, kennels, or animal handling is a plus Weekend and holiday availability may be required This is a hands-on role that includes cleaning, lifting, walking, feeding, and closely monitoring animals. It can be busy and physically demanding, but it is also a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in each pet's stay.
