Position:

• This position is commission-based. . Tuesday & Thursday Schedule . You will work with a wide variety of dog breeds.
• You will be part of a culture that promotes positivity and over-the-top customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Grooming and styling pets per owners' instructions or according to breed standards.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing care recommendations.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services to keep their pets healthy and happy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
• Provide additional pet care services, including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Stay updated on grooming techniques, trends, and best practices to enhance skills.

Groomer will have:

• Two or more years of breed specific pet grooming experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Strong dog handling skills and the ability to work with various breeds and temperaments.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
