Job Overview Join our team as a Dog Boarding & Daycare Attendant, where your passion for animals and energetic personality will shine! In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional care and attention to dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved during their stay. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive environment that fosters trust and comfort for both pets and their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in pet care, handling, and customer service. Responsibilities Supervise dogs during boarding and daycare hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Engage dogs in stimulating activities, playtime, and socialization to promote healthy behavior and happiness Monitor dog behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort, and implement appropriate handling techniques Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to uphold hygiene standards Assist with feeding, administering medications if needed, and providing basic grooming or pet sitting services Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dogs' status, special needs, or concerns Check in and out dogs as needed on our online boarding platform Requirements Passionate about working with animals and dedicated to providing compassionate care Experience with dog training, handling, or veterinary assistance is highly desirable Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming skills preferred (but not required) Previous kennel, pet sitting, veterinary technician, or veterinary assistant experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with dog handling Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires active movement and attentiveness Join us in creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where dogs can thrive!
