Role:

We're hiring kind, reliable, and detail-oriented part-time Pet Care Professionals to care for dogs, cats, and small animals (birds, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs). This includes dog walking, enrichment visits, drop-ins, and in-home pet sitting.

Responsibilities:

Walk dogs and provide enrichment visits (leash walks, potty breaks, play, etc.) Feed pets, administer medications, clean litterboxes, and offer companionship Observe and log pet behavior, mood, and health via our app Communicate clearly with pet parents and the Sploot team Follow specific pet and household care instructions Keep client homes secure and clean Remain calm and resourceful in unexpected situations

Requirements:

18+ years old Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (alternatives considered) Smartphone and ability to use text/apps Comfortable working in all weather Committed to Fear Free® / Force Free handling Excellent communication and time management Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure Can lift 25-30 lbs Must pass a background check Minimum 6-month commitment

Bonus Points If You Have:

Prior experience in pet care, dog walking, or animal handling Familiarity with scheduling or pet care apps Certification in Fear Free, Pet First Aid, or similar—or willingness to get certified Are vegetarian or vegan
