About the Role Serenity Pet Spa is a full-service grooming salon where we provide compassionate and thorough care for every dog that walks through our door. We're looking for a warm, organized, and reliable person to be the face of our salon — and the one who makes sure it's gleaming before we lock up. This is a combined Front Desk & Closing Cleaner position, perfect for someone who loves variety in their day and genuinely cares about giving pet owners and their pups a great experience. Front Desk Duties Greet clients and their dogs with a warm, welcoming attitude Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the booking calendar Check pets in and out, collect payments, and process transactions Communicate clearly with groomers about drop-off times, special requests, and dog behavior Answer basic questions about our services, products, and pricing Help create a calm, positive experience for dogs and their owners Handle client concerns with patience and professionalism Closing Cleaner Duties At the end of each day, you'll make sure the salon is fresh, clean, and ready to shine for the next morning.

Duties include:

Sweep, mop, and sanitize all salon areas Clean and wipe down tubs, grooming tables, dryers, and equipment Empty trash and replace liners throughout the salon Restock supplies and make note of anything that needs replenishing Complete closing checklist and secure the salon at end of shift What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking to the public Reliable — we count on each other here Detail-oriented and takes pride in a job done right Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments Able to stand for extended periods and handle light physical tasks Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you our systems Pay & Culture Starting pay: $15-$17/hour based on experience. Hours:

This position is part-time with a set weekly schedule — Tuesday 2:00-8:30 PM and Wednesday through Friday 12:00-6:30 PM. Consistent hours mean you can plan your life around a reliable routine!
