About our shop :) Green Collar is an all-natural, full service grooming salon. We use earthbath products and strive to create a sense of health and happiness for the pets and their groomer. With a newly remodeled salon, we have up to date equipment, electric tables for bathing/drying, and bath tubs with stairs/ramps. Minimal lifting is our goal! We have a strong presence throughout the community and strive to maintain a positive relationship not only with our clients but with each other. Job Description Bathing and blow drying Nail Trims Dog Handling and Restraint Knowing different types of coats in dogs and how to properly care for them Brushing Clipping and scissoring Communicate well with clients and staff Performing add-on services.

Ex:

Nail Dremmeling, Teeth Brushing Physically fit (standing and some lifting, at least 45 pounds) Expressing anal glands Cleaning up pet hair and keeping up with general cleanliness of the salon. Enjoying your job! Loving the pups!

Experience Pet Grooming:

1 year (Preferred) Certified Pet Groomer (Preferred) •If you are not a certified groomer or don't have grooming experience, we you to go through a grooming program. You are responsible for any books, tools or material needed to become certified. You are responsible for the cost of any classes, courses or online training that may take place during your certification.

We will work with you while attending the academy to get you up and grooming! www.marciespetspa.com Paragon Online Grooming School and recommend their academy as well. Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming https://wsppg.com/ Depending on experience with dogs and employee motivation, obtaining a job at Green Collar can be an option while attending a grooming program. You get paid to learn! One groomer to one station! You will have your own electric table and storage for all tools. Flexible scheduling. Fenced in play area for all dogs, plus a break area for you. Paid continuing education classes.
