Location:
Wausau, Schofield, Weston, Rib Mountain Schedule:
Based on your availability (could be week days, weeknights, or weekends)
Compensation:
Dog walks or drop ins (20 mins)- $13 $26/hour when there are two walks in an hour $19/hour when there are 1.5 walks in an hour Overnights - $30 •Additional pay for additional dogs •Additional pay when outside service area (listed above) Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to provide high-quality care for our clients' pets. This role is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys being active outdoors, and values reliability and communication. Key Responsibilities Dog Walking Provide safe, engaging walks tailored to each dog's energy level and needs Follow specific care instructions (leash handling, routes, behavioral considerations) Ensure pets have fresh water and are secure upon return Clean up waste during walks Pet Sitting Provide in-home care for dogs (and possibly other pets) Feed pets according to owner instructions Administer medications if required Provide companionship, playtime, and enrichment activities Client Communication All client communication will be handled by Floofers and Woofers Qualifications Prior experience with dogs (professional or personal) preferred Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Reliable transportation Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Must be punctual and dependable Ability to pass a background check (if required) Physical Requirements Ability to walk multiple dogs and stand for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ideal Candidate Flexible schedule Patient and calm under pressure Detail-oriented and follows instructions carefully Trustworthy and respectful of clients' homes Flexible with scheduling on weekends and holidays
Pay:
$15.00 - $26.00 per hour
