Job Description

We're Looking for a Part-Time Kennel Technician Who Loves Tail Wags and Purrs Do you dream of a job where you're greeted by wagging tails and heart-melting purrs? If so, HSBC has the purr-fect opportunity for you! We're on the lookout for a dedicated, compassionate Kennel Technician who will care for our furry friends as if they're your own. Here's your chance to make a difference, one paw at a time! We are currently looking for weekend coverage, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, for shifts from 8:00 a.m.

m. Start at $12/hour, with performance reviews at 90 days, 6 months, and annually, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills caring for dogs and cats while increasing your hourly rate based on your performance. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income.
What You'll Be Up To:
Feeding, watering, and pampering the adorable residents. Cleaning and sanitizing kennels to keep our critters comfy and safe. Administering medications
  • a steady hand and TLC required!
Exercising and socializing animals (think playtime, snuggles, and strolls). Monitoring behavior and health like an animal detective . Keeping areas tidy (yup, cleaning is part of the gig). Recording important details into our animal care system. What You Bring to the
Team:
A love for animals so deep that cat hair and dog slobber feel like badges of honor. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment that's equal parts rewarding and emotional. Bonus points for previous experience working or volunteering with animals
  • but not a must!
Self-motivation and a team spirit that shines. Ability to multi-task while staying positive and communicating clearly. Confidence and comfort handling dogs and cats, big or small. The Fun Side of the
Role:
Show off your leash-handling skills and have fun getting to know each pet's unique personality while guiding them with love (and maybe a few treats). Some animals might be a little cranky or scared (hey, we all have those days!), but you'll be their comforting presence, turning stressful moments into opportunities for trust-building and extra cuddles later.
The Nitty-Gritty Physical Requirements:
At least 18 years of age Occasionally lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs (perfect for the gym enthusiast). Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • yoga poses, anyone? A knack for handling animals that might be a little nervous, rowdy, or unwell. Repetitive use of hands (treats, leashes, cleaning gear
  • all the essentials). Must be dependable
