Kennel Technician & Doggie Daycare Attendant

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant, where your passion for animals and energetic attitude will shine! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively, pet-centered environment dedicated to animal well-being and customer satisfaction. Please Note- We have a Split Shift Schedule. That means that shifts run from 7:00am-11:00am and then from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and they do run 7 days a week. We are looking to hire a few Part Time employees in order to cover these days or Full Time could be available for the right person. Holidays & Weekends are Required as that is when we have the highest volume of guests. Reliability is essential as we have living, breathing things counting on us.

Pay rate is $12 per hour to start. Grooming services such as baths or nail trims will be paid as commission plus tips. Reviews will be given at 30 & 90 days. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to dogs in the kennel and daycare areas, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed Engage dogs in play, socialization, and basic training activities to promote good behavior and mental stimulation Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations to ensure a hygienic environment for all animals Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques while ensuring their comfort and security Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep pets looking their best Monitor animal behavior closely; identify signs of stress or illness and communicate concerns promptly to veterinary staff or management Support pet sitting services by providing attentive care for animals during client visits or overnight stays Skills Experience in dog handling, training, or animal care is highly desirable Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles enhances understanding of pet health needs Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and pet sitting responsibilities is a plus Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with animal care equipment Passion for animal welfare combined with a lively attitude that fosters a positive environment for pets and clients Join us if you're ready to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career where every day is filled with wagging tails, happy paws, and meaningful connections!
