Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel hand / Bather, where your passion for dogs and dedication to their care will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our furry clients during their stay. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each pet receives the highest quality of care, from bathing and basic handling and supervision. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with dogs, providing essential support that enhances their well-being and happiness. Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain animals during bathing and routine care activities Perform pet bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance with precision and compassion Checking dogs in and out for their stay. Feeding schedules, letting them in and out during their stay. Medication as need. Walking and playing with them. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment Monitor animals' health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to management staff Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns. Must work well with other team members. Experience Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or kennel work is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses demonstrates versatility in animal care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving animals or supplies is essential.
