Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and their humans, possess the skills necessary to train and care for dogs effectively. Have the ability to think outside the treat pouch to find ways to set both the dog and human up for success.Duties:
- Conduct dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assess dogs' behavior and create individualized training plans
- Teach basic obedience commands and address puppy behavioral issues
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training methods
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment for both dogs and humans
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in dog training.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific training needs
- Ability to bend at the waist, kneel and sit on the floor
