Schedule:

Part-time (approximately 15 hours per week) 3 days per week with flexible scheduling Must be available for mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and dog-loving individual to join our team as a Kennel Technician. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of dogs—from family pets to working dogs and young puppies—and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in animal care and training. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the industry, with potential to move into a more full-time role based on dedication and performance. Key Responsibilities Providing routine potty breaks and exercise for dogs Maintaining a clean and sanitary kennel environment (sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, etc.) Bathing and basic grooming of dogs Monitoring dog behavior, health, and overall well-being Handling dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels safely and confidently Assisting with basic training exposure and learning opportunities Qualifications Passion for working with dogs and a strong interest in animal care and/or training Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable handling multiple dogs, including high-energy or working breeds Willingness to follow direction and maintain a structured environment Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends Growth Opportunities Hands-on experience with dog handling and training environments Opportunity to expand responsibilities and hours over time Potential transition into a more full-time role for the right candidate
