Dog Handler Position / Front Desk Concierge

Concierge Position D Pet Hotels is currently looking for part time/full time Concierge and Dog Park handler for the weekday and weekend shifts. The Concierge position is key to the overall success of D Pet Hotels, as measured by the health and happiness of our canine guests and consistent customer satisfaction. This position is the face of D Pet Hotels', providing our clients with top notch service in a respectful manner, and attentively personalizing each visit to ensure the health and happiness of their dogs.

Responsibilities:

Excellent customer service in person and via email and phone. Eagerly greet customers and attend to their needs within our policy structure.

Service and product knowledge. Become an expert in our service and product offerings and actively assist customers in selection. Accurately book detailed appointments in our proprietary software. Check in/out daycare and boarding dogs in a timely manner.

Teamwork:

Assisting other members of the team when needed in a variety of tasks to provide excellent overall service.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Hard working, reliable, team-oriented and punctual. Outgoing, friendly and approachable. Able to work in a fast-paced, active environment. At least 6 months of customer service experience is required. Pet care industry knowledge/ experience preferred. Share our love of dogs! Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Word and Email. Business management skills a plus The D Pet Hotels Concierge consists of team work, standing and interacting with clients and dogs for extended periods of up to three hours at a time. They work in a very hands-on environment among active dogs and must be quick on their feet and agile.
