Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and compassionate Pet Sitter/Dog Handler to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to dogs and other pets, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while their owners are away. This is an active, outdoor position best suited for someone who truly enjoys working with animals and can confidently handle a variety of breeds and temperaments. Responsibilities Walk dogs on scheduled routes and timeframes Feed pets and provide fresh water as instructed Clean up after pets and properly dispose of waste Monitor pets' behavior, health, and overall well-being Safely handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Transport pets Communicate updates, concerns, or incidents to clients and management promptly Follow all care instructions and company protocols Requirements Genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being Previous experience working with dogs or animals (professional preferred) Basic knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques Physically able to walk, control, and care for dogs of various sizes Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy Patient, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation Smartphone (iPhone or Android) for scheduling and communication Availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays Must live in or near Northeast Los Angeles High school diploma or equivalent Ability to provide professional references Preferred (Not Required) Experience in dog training or behavior management Background in veterinary care or pet first aid Pet grooming experience Customer service experience Why Join Us?
