Job Description

Wags & Wiggles Dog Daycare is Orange County's favorite Dog Daycare, Boarding, & Training Center since 1999. Our family-owned business is staffed 24/7 and is highly committed to our team members, clients, and facility. We are seeking dog-loving, hard-working individuals who are interested in becoming integral members of our human pack.

Part-Time and Full Time Available Location:
TUSTIN Facility Essential Duties:
This position requires an enthusiastic individual who shares our love and passion for dogs. You must be a hard worker, dedicated, reliable, and a team player. You must have a good memory and be great at multitasking. You must be kind towards and accepting of all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs. If you love working with people and dogs, the Front Office Position may be for you! You must be customer-service-oriented and have excellent communication skills. Duties include answering phones, checking dogs in and out for daycare and boarding, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. Shifts out on the daycare floor may be required. Our daycare positions include supervising dog play, assisting in report cards, introducing new dogs to the pack, quick trains, and working in a team environment. Duties for these positions include, but are not limited to: Answering phone calls Checking dogs in and out for daycare and boarding Going above and beyond for our clients Cleaning up after dogs Playing with dogs Administering food and medications Handling dogs appropriately using positive reinforcement techniques Recognizing dog body language Observing dog behavior to promote positive interactions Easily remembering dog's names, breeds, and details about individual dogs Working as part of a team Cleaning and disinfecting duties
Required Qualifications:
Must be devoted to dogs! Must be 18 years or older Must be able to lift 40 pounds Must be able to be on your feet and moving frequently Must be able to handle all types of dogs, including large breeds Must be able to work around disinfectants, dog hair, and other potential allergens Must be patient and able to work both in a group setting and individually Must be able to work holidays and weekends
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience working with dogs or other animals Previous customer service experience
