Pet Trainer

We are looking for a compassionate and certified Pet Trainer who can confidently handle behavior modification cases and deliver structured training sessions based on our service menu. Responsibilities You will provide training sessions that match our Training Menu, including: Puppy Training (Ages 2-10 months) Focus areas: Potty training Bite inhibition Socialization Basic obedience Household manners Coaching owners on at-home training homework Training Price List Basic Obedience (All Ages) Skills covered: Sit, down, stay Recall Leash manners Distraction / environment training Progress tracking and client communication Behavior Modification (Required Skill) You must be able to handle cases such as: Excessive barking Separation anxiety Resource guarding / possession issues Reactivity toward dogs or people Mild aggression Conducting behavior assessments Developing and executing personalized modification plans Providing detailed progress updates to pet owners

Requirements Required:

Professional training certification (CPDT-KA, IAABC, AKC Evaluator, or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of hands-on training experience Must be able to handle behavior modification cases Strong understanding of positive-reinforcement training methods Excellent communication and client-education skills Ability to design structured training plans independently

Preferred:

Experience with reactive or aggression cases Ability to record training videos for client updates Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus but not required

Pay:

$26.00 - $36.00 per hour
