Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will ensure that each dog receives the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Able to work independently and as a team. Provide basic training and behavioral guidance to dogs as needed. Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including kennels, play areas, and equipment. Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing general care for the dogs. Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs. Understanding in PACFA Guidelines and Regulations. Willing to train the right candidates. Requirements Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is highly preferred, but not necessary. Skills in dog training or veterinary assistance are a plus. Familiarity with pet grooming techniques is beneficial. Experience in kennel operations or as a veterinary technician is advantageous. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to handle animals safely and comfortably, including restraint when necessary. Willingness to perform physical tasks that may involve heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
