Job Description
Silver Trails is looking for a detail-oriented candidate to fill an opening for a boarding kennel attendant. Cleaning and sanitizing the kennels in addition to dog care, is an essential part of the job. You will need to be able to handle dogs on leashes up to 120lbs, lift up to 30lbs and be on your feet for your shift. We would like a candidate with their own reliable transportation and who can work independently after training. We would like to add someone who has experience with providing care for dogs and cats but willing to train the right applicant. The job consists of cleaning the dog kennels, feeding, giving medication and walking our guests. Also laundry, dishes and other basic cleaning are done during the work shift. We are looking for someone who can work weekdays mornings and maybe some evening shift. Weekends (at least one day) and holidays are a must. At this time this is a summer job position.
