Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in a cage-free daycare setting. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry clients. If you have experience in pet care, animal handling, or veterinary assistance, we would love to hear from you! Duties Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being. Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment by regularly cleaning beds, play areas, potty zones, and equipment. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management. Assist with feeding and administering medications as needed. Maintain accurate records of dog activities, health concerns, and feeding schedules. Requirements Previous experience in pet care, dog handling, or animal care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dog training methods or veterinary assistance is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to interact with dogs, coworkers, and managers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to lift 50+ lbs and the ability to lift up dogs if necessary.
