Job Description
Job description: Ever wish you could play with dogs and get paid for it!!! We accept applicants who are dependable, responsible, friendly and who truly love dogs! In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs while ensuring their well-being and happiness. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, facilitating playtime, exercise, and socialization. All applicants must be at least 18 years old, graduated high school or currently a senior in high school and have reliable transportation. Please make sure you can physically interact with large dogs, and you are able to safely walk dogs up to 100lbs. We are always on the go, playing with our furry friends!!! Shifts are available immediately. (We are currently in need of a few morning shifts which is 6:45am
- 1:00pm, but mainly the midday shifts 10:00am
- 4:00pm and a few afternoons shifts 12:45pm
- 7:00pm). Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under care
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary
- Report any health concerns or behavioral issues to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility Qualifications
- Experience in handling dogs in a professional or personal capacity preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dog behavior and body language are a plus
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for animals are essential traits for success in this role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
