We're more than a dog training center - we're a canine social club and community hub. Our group classes are upbeat, exciting, and packed with a purpose - and we're looking for a dynamic dog trainer to join the pack! We use positive reinforcement training and offer group and private classes in obedience, agility, puppy training, playgroups, as well as enrichment classes and workshops. Our motto is "We don't train dogs. We train the people who love them." When we look for new trainers, we're really focused on those with excellent people skills who are articulate communicators. We also prefer applicants who deeply care about making a difference in the community. If you have experience in pet care, veterinary assistance, or related fields, we encourage you to apply. What you'll do: Teach group and private training classes Coach people just as much as their pups - we train the humans, too! Schedule classes; follow up with clients Conduct high energy orientations with prospective clients, educate them on our programs, and close sales by enrolling them in the best fit membership plan Evaluate incoming dogs and recommend appropriate type of training Assist with day-to-day operations of the facility, including but not limited to stocking shelves, cleaning the gym, answering the phone, monitoring the front desk while providing customer service Make doggy donuts :) Job requirements include: Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move agility equipment multiple times per day ... lots of belly rubs !

The ideal candidate will have:

Passion for animal care and training as well as interest for improving the lives of pets and their parents Experience in generating new business revenue as well as upselling current customers Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Store hours are
