Job Description

Looking for an "early morning" person who wants to work 6 am to 1pm, 3-5 shifts per week, with weekends included. Dogtopia of Thunderbolt is the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services. Located in Thunderbolt, Georgia. We are looking for a Canine Coach who wants to work mornings from 6:00 am to 1:00pm with some weekends included. We are looking for someone who can work these hours specifically. You'd be a good fit for us if: You love dogs, are comfortable around dogs, and would love to care for them. You have experience in working with dogs in prior work or personal experiences. You are a morning person and don't mind coming in for early hours You are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. You are willing to learn, train, and grow-- whatever your experience with dogs. You are able to stand and move during your entire shift. You are a team player and willing to step up to help your co-workers. You will have consistent, timely attendance and are highly reliable. You have a positive attitude. You are detail-oriented and can follow instructions for daily cleaning, care, feeding, and documenting dog behavior. We will be a good fit for you if: You want to bring your dog to work! You want to work for a company that has high standards for dog care and are challenged to meet and exceed those standards. You love learning and are willing to complete on-line and in-room training on dog behavior, safety, health, and room control. You desire a flexible schedule with morning or afternoon shifts M-F, and weekend shifts. You can work some holidays upon request. The Opening rover/Canine coach position is a 20-40 hour a week job that requires paid on-line training and in-room training. The average shift is from 6 am to 1 pm and requires the applicant to help open the store (you will have another person with you), care for our boarding dogs, greet pet parents coming in for the morning and take the dogs back, and complete the behind the scenes tasks such as dishes, laundry, and cleaning. It requires self motivation and time management. You will also be trained as a canine coach so you can help relieve for breaks and understand working with dogs safely. The canine coach should be willing to use mentor coaching and constructive criticism to grow as a dog expert and project that confidence to the pet parents. We are completely transparent and our pet parents have access to cameras to view the rooms, so the applicant should be comfortable with being on camera.
