Dog Daycare Attendant (experience required)

Off-Leash Hotel is an upscale dog daycare and boarding facility located in New Lenox, IL. We offer dog daycare, boarding and grooming to the surrounding suburbs. We are looking for energetic and motivated folks to join our team. Our goal is to create an environment where pets thrive and their owners find peace of mind by providing exceptional care, personalized attention and activities that contribute to the overall wellbeing of every guest. We are dedicated to carefully curating compatible playgroups and selecting only the most suitable dogs for daycare.

PLAY WITH DOGS!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
• Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise
• Provide basic grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and equipment
• Administer medications or treatments to dogs as instructed by the owner or veterinarian
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and health status
• Assist with customer service tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing client inquiries

Requirements:

• Must have a genuine love for dogs and a strong understanding of dog behavior
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dogs or bags of dog food)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Previous experience working in a dog daycare or similar environment is required

Note:

This job will require consistent weekend or evening shifts every month based on business needs.
