Job Description

Puppy Trainer We are seeking a patient, experienced Puppy Trainer to help set our Bernedoodle puppies up for success in their new homes! This is a part-time role where you will pick up a puppy from our location, train them in your own home , and return them once their training is complete.
Responsibilities include teaching each puppy:
Crate training and consistent potty routines Name recognition and engagement with the handler Leash manners and loose-leash walking Introduction to marker-based communication Basic commands: Sit, Down, Come, and Place Calm mindset development through structure and repetition What we're looking for: Proven experience in puppy training or dog handling A kind but structured training approach Patience and consistency (puppies are adorable… and unpredictable!) Alignment with our Christian family values A clean, safe home environment suitable for raising puppies Maximum of one personal pet, and that pet must be up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming
Compensation:
Pay will be based on a weekly rate , reflecting experience and training ability. Since we are a small Bernedoodle breeder, this is an as-needed position depending on when our litters are born. The typical commitment may vary but will center on providing foundational training over 3-8 weeks per puppy. Being able to deliver the puppies after the training is done is a big bonus and would provide additional pay. If you love dogs and are passionate about helping puppies develop good habits early, we'd love to connect and see how you can partner with us to give our puppies the best start in life!
