That's right! Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Canine Coach. This is a key role within our business and we work hard to deliver top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. This person should love dogs - and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!
What we expect:
Have fun working with dogs! Be the LEADER of a pack of dogs! Maintain control of large groups of open play dogs in a playroom at all times to ensure a safe and fun environment All rooms are equipped with cameras for our pet parents to engage with their furry friend throughout their stay Continuously on their feet showing the dogs attention and care to ensure that they are maintaining a pack leader status in the room Caring for all the furry friends as if they were a part of their own family Cleaning Duties Playroom is continually monitored and kept free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift Daily cleaning assignments which may include, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, refilling the water cooler, replacing water bowls and changing futon sheets. Being proactive in making sure the dogs are always in a safe, clean environment Willingness to learn correct Dogtopia bathing and nail clipping of any size dog without direct supervision. Proper procedures include the use of appropriate bathing equipment and techniques, along with clean-up of the bathing area upon completion. Always handling dogs with care as bath time can be stressful on our furry friend Teamwork and Own Initiatives Ability to work cohesively with their team in a respectful and professional manner Willingness to want to learn and grow within the company and position Maintains consistent time and attendance standards Follows company dress code guidelines for professional and safe standards Is on time for scheduled shifts and in the case of an emergency calls in advance of their shift to allow time for proper coverage.

MUST LOVE DOGS - VERY IMPORTANT
Ability to spend up to 100% of work standing Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast paced environment Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Confident and able to "own" a room of dogs Personal Characteristics Detailed Oriented Quick thinker Excellent communication skills Fun-loving Emotionally intelligent Able to multitask and continually observe the room Worth repeating, Must. Love. Dogs. Compensation Hourly rate 11.00 - 12.00 per hour
Benefits:
