In this role, you will be the driving force behind helping dogs and their owners achieve harmony through effective training techniques. Your expertise will foster positive behavior, strengthen the bond between pets and their families, and promote a safe, happy environment for all. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of animals and their owners every day. Duties Develop customized training programs tailored to each dog's temperament, age, and specific needs Conduct individual and group training sessions focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint and handling techniques to ensure safety for both pets and trainers Educate pet owners on training methods, pet care routines, and behavioral management strategies Assist with pet grooming, pet sitting, and general animal care tasks as needed to support overall well-being Maintain detailed records of training progress, behavioral observations, and client interactions Support kennel management by assisting with animal handling, feeding, and light cleaning duties Qualifications Proven experience in dog training with a strong understanding of canine behavior principles Background in veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant roles is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint and handling techniques Familiarity with pet grooming, pet sitting, and general animal care practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal handling or equipment setup Prior experience working with animals in kennel environments or similar settings is a plus Join us to turn your passion for animals into a rewarding career!
