At The Canine Kingdom, we believe dogs deserve thoughtful, attentive, and high-quality care throughout their day. We are seeking a Canine Care Professional to join a small, dedicated team responsible for providing structured play, enrichment, walking, transportation, and hands-on daily care in a calm, well-managed environment. This role is best suited for someone who is confident around dogs, naturally observant, and takes pride in consistent, attentive care. You will work with dogs of varying sizes, temperaments, and energy levels while maintaining safety, structure, and a positive daily experience. What You Will Do Supervise and guide structured playgroups Walk and exercise dogs individually and in groups Provide safe transportation for dogs as needed Support in-home visits, check-ins, and scheduled care as required Provide enrichment, care, and daily hands-on handling Observe canine behavior and respond appropriately to group dynamics Maintain a clean, calm, and well-organized environment Support daily operations and shift flow to ensure structure and consistency What We Are Looking For Previous experience with dogs (ownership, walking, pet sitting, daycare, or similar exposure) Calm, confident, and attentive presence around animals Strong reliability, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn and grow Ability to take direction and apply feedback quickly and accurately Comfortable working in a structured, fast-moving environment while maintaining composure Naturally observant with the ability to notice details, patterns, or operational issues and communicate them appropriately Comfortable raising concerns or suggestions to leadership when improvements are needed Ability to take initiative within your role without needing step-by-step instruction Understanding of when to act independently and when to escalate or communicate with the team Why This Role Is Different A structured, professional environment centered entirely around canine care A close-knit team built on consistency, communication, and trust Hands-on experience in dog handling, enrichment, walking, and group management Ongoing learning in canine care practices and behavior awareness Opportunity for growth within a developing, quality-focused canine care program A fully active, engaging workday spent with dogs in meaningful work Scheduling, Transportation & Requirements 18+ with a valid driver's license Proof of valid auto insurance required Reliable personal transportation required for dog transport, walks, and check-ins Availability at least 3 days per week (up to 5 days available) Consistent weekday availability (Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM) Occasional weekend or evening availability may be requested with advance notice from management Training is provided. What we cannot train is presence, care, and the ability to show up consistently with the right mindset for this level of responsibility.
