Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Canine Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and handling, with a focus on providing exceptional service to both the animals and their owners. As a Canine Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our canine companions while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. We are seeking to add to our driving staff to maintain current services as well as possible expanision of this service. We transport Mon-Fri with morning pick ups and afternoon drop offs. Driving candidates should be 18+ with a clean driving record. Vehicle is provided. Duties Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercise. Monitor the health and behavior of each canine, reporting any concerns to management. Assist in training and socializing dogs to promote good behavior and obedience. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and play areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Utilize animal restraint techniques when necessary for grooming or veterinary visits. Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' activities and well-being. Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger breeds. Qualifications Previous experience in pet care is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform animal restraint safely and humanely. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs) as required. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
