Job Summary Join our small but vibrant pet care team as a Doggy Daycare Attendant, Trainer, and Canine Coach! We are a growing business and looking for motivated people who want to in this feild and take pride what you do and where you work. In these energetic roles, you will be the heartbeat of our dog daycare, providing safe, engaging, and loving care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Your passion for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine through as you facilitate play, monitor behavior, and ensure a positive environment for every furry guest and their humans. This position offers a dynamic workday filled with meaningful interactions, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a real difference in dogs' lives while supporting their owners' peace of mind. We run a fear free and force free facility and use science as the foundation of our dog training and boarding philosophy. We are a new business, and it is our goal to build something amazing and special here. We aim to create a place that serves as a resource for dogs, their humans, and the broader community. To do that, we need exceptional people who share our passion and love for dogs. The team we build will be a huge part of making this vision a reality. Currently, we are a small team, but we strive to communicate effectively with everyone— customers, clients, current employees, future employees, and the broader community as a whole and we are looking for people who share out philisophy and want to be a sincere part of what we are trying to build here. Responsibilities Supervise and facilitate safe play sessions among dogs, ensuring positive social interactions and preventing conflicts Monitor dogs' behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort, and intervening appropriately using animal handling, redirection, and restraint techniques Assist with basic dog training exercises to promote good manners and obedience during daycare activities Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including kennels, play areas, grooming areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for all animals Provide pet care duties such as feeding, administering medications if needed, and assisting with pet grooming or basic veterinary-related tasks Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health status, and any concerns that arise during their stay Support team members with heavy lifting tasks such as moving kennels or supplies to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications You must love dogs and be willing to treat all dogs with care and respect Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods and animal care best practices is essential Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles enhances your ability to handle health-related situations confidently Be a hard worker who takes initiave and identifies projects on your own Excellent customer service skills to engage with pet owners professionally and warmly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for kennel cleaning or equipment setup A genuine passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude to create a fun and safe environment for dogs Join us in creating joyful experiences for dogs while supporting their owners!
