In this energetic role, you'll provide exceptional exercise, socialization, and care to dogs of all breeds and sizes. Your enthusiasm will help keep our furry clients happy, healthy, and well-adjusted while building meaningful relationships with pet owners. Duties Pick up and drop off dogs from clients' homes, following individualized care instructions Lead engaging and safe walks or hikes, ensuring dogs' physical and mental needs are met Monitor group dynamics and behavior, using proper handling techniques when necessary Reinforce basic training and good manners during outings Assess each dog's temperament and well-being, flagging any concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, including waste management and equipment care Communicate clearly and consistently with pet owners about their dog's experience Qualifications Prior experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and/or veterinary experience is a plus Strong animal handling skills, including safe restraint when needed Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to multitask and stay attentive in active outdoor environments Ability to perform physical tasks, including assisting larger dogs when necessary Excellent communication and customer service skills
