Tech at our Pet Resort & Doggy Daycare! Are you looking for a respectful & dynamic workplace? Duties Daily care of feeding and medicating dogs, cats, and small animals. Daily cleaning of dog runs and cat condos - to provide exceptional cleaning standards. Provide basic grooming for dogs - baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings. Understanding of our software, Gingr, to complete check-ins & check-outs and communicate all concerns to the staff about the pet and/or owner. Supervising doggy daycare & group play Experience & Skills Previous pet care experience Attention to detail Ability to understand the different temperaments of dog breeds Physical stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels Previous experience in basic grooming for dogs Any previous experience in the veterinary field or customer service is a PLUS! If you feel you can add to this team, we'd love to interview you! Pay/Tips/Hours All employees' pay includes tips: You will receive $3/hr in tips starting on your first day. With tips included, your base pay will be $15/hr. Once you've completed the Resort Tech training program (which typically takes 3-5 weeks), you will be a part of the full tip pool. Tips on a weekly basis average $3-$5/hr for every employee, taking your base pay then to $15-$17/hr. We are looking for staff who can work 30-45 hours in the summer months and then potentially part time in the fall/winter/spring. Join our supportive, organized & growth-minded team at Golden Wood!
