We are seeking a reliable and experienced pet sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. As a pet sitter, you will be responsible for dog walking and cat care. Requirements:

Applicants MUST live in one of our service areas listed above. Daily travel between clients' homes is expected, by use of your own personal vehicle. Experience:
Some previous experience handling different temperaments and multiple sizes and breeds of dogs is required. Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic, pet grooming salon, daycare, former dog walker or kennel/boarding facility, is preferred. Must possess a knowledge of basic animal care and behavior. Qualities:
Attention to detail, punctuality, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service skills are essential. Availability:
Should be available between the hours of 9:00AM & 3:30PM. Hours will vary daily, but shifts tend to run on average between 2-5 hours each day. Must be able to work at least 3 weekend dates per month with open availability between the hours of 8AM and 8PM on those days. Must be open to working as early as 8AM or as late as 8PM, as needed during the week . Discussed case-by-case, when the need arises. Transportation:
Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from pet sitting/dog walking assignments. Must have a valid Driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and valid registration. Technology:
Must own a functioning smartphone for communication and scheduling purposes via use of an app. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities:
Dog Walking:
Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety and well-being during indoor and outdoor activities. Provide basic care for dogs, including occasional medications, feeding, and watering as needed. Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly. Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury. Provide structure, exercise, companionship and playtime. Note:
This position may require heavy lifting at times, as some dogs may be larger breeds or require assistance due to age or physical limitations. Cat Care:
Provide feeding, cleaning, and occasional medications for our feline friends. Monitor cats for any signs of illness or injury. Provide companionship and playtime. Complete any household tasks for clients out of town (i.e. mail collection, trash/recycle, alternating lights or watering plants). Attention to Detail:
Follow specific instructions regarding pet care, including dietary needs and medications. Punctuality:
Arrive on time for scheduled pet sitting visits and walks. Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their pets are cared for with love and affection. Provide detailed reports and photos to clients through our app. Scheduling and Compensation:
Part-Time:
This is a part-time position with hours varying between 10 and 20 hours per week. Weekly hours are highly dependent on how many days per week you are able to work. This job is generally considered supplemental income. Timing:
We accept appointments beginning at 8am, and our last appointment begins at 7pm. Our peak hours for scheduling daytime shifts are between 9:30AM and 3:30PM (typical shifts may be 2-4 hour shifts at a time). When the need arises for coverage outside of our typical peak hours, we handle that case-by-case to pitch in as a team. Weekends are required by signing up for a minimum of three dates each month . You may not have to work a weekend, but you must be available on the date you signed up for between 8AM and 8PM, if you are needed. Compensation:
$17/hour Bonuses:
Paid out 3x per year. $75-sign on bonus: After 12 full working weeks of employment. Unpaid sick leave:
accumulated at 1 hour per every 30 hours worked - a percentage of the total earned value is paid back as a bonus at the end of the calendar year when you take less than 20% of any accumulated sick leave. How to Apply:
