Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Doggie Daycare Office/Dog Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to exceptional pet care will shine! In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face that ensures our furry guests are happy, safe, and well-cared-for while providing outstanding customer service to pet owners. Your passion for animals and strong work ethic will help create a positive environment where dogs thrive and owners feel confident leaving their pets in our care. This paid position offers a dynamic, rewarding experience for animal lovers eager to make a difference every day! Duties Greet pet owners and their dogs with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Assist with dog handling, including feeding, walking, and supervising playtime to promote healthy socialization Monitor dogs during their stay, ensuring proper animal restraint and safety protocols are followed at all times Provide basic pet grooming and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and hygienic environment Support dog training activities by reinforcing commands and encouraging good behavior during play sessions Handle heavy lifting of supplies, crates, or equipment safely to support daily operations Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs, behaviors, and any concerns that arise Need to be able to multitask and be very detailed. Must be able to handle stress well Must have knowledge of how to navigate around on a computer Skills Experience in dog training or handling, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and communication Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is highly valued for understanding pet health needs Knowledge of pet grooming, pet sitting, and animal care best practices to ensure well-rounded service delivery Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their questions or concerns confidently Physical stamina for heavy lifting and active engagement throughout the day in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail combined with a compassionate attitude toward animals and clients Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where dogs can play freely while owners enjoy peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring hands.
