The Shift Monday-Thursday every week 3:00 PM - 9:30PM/10:00 PM (approximately 6-7 hours per shift) You will work alone during your shift, so strong reliability and self-motivation are essential. Responsibilities Remove empty food bowls Clean up messes and accidents Some light cleaning Provide individual potty breaks for dogs (typically 25-35 dogs in kennel) Close the building, secure all doors and windows, and set the alarm Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Willing and able to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Comfortable working outdoors for a majority of the shift (dress for the weather) Able to work independently with minimal supervision Extremely reliable — calling off is difficult because you work alone and we care for dogs Strong work ethic and a "go-with-the-flow" attitude (dog care can be unpredictable) Reliable transportation Prior kennel or dog care experience is a plus, but not required

This position requires working some holidays.
