Full Job Description About Dog Wellness Club:
Dog Wellness Club is a fun and friendly environment where teamwork rules. We take a dog-centric approach to working with dogs, focusing on how dogs communicate and understand each other rather than emphasizing compliance and control. Our goal is not only to provide a safe and engaging space for dogs to socialize but also to work meaningfully with them and their families. We want dogs to leave better than they came in and equip families with the tools they need to raise dogs who can be fully included in their lives. About the
Role:
We are looking for a pack leader who has experience working with dogs and a passion for relating to them through leadership and communication. The ideal candidate will have a deep desire to make a career out of helping dogs reach their full potential by understanding them better and speaking their language.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a calm and confident pack leader to groups of dogs, creating structure and harmony in the daycare environment. Develop fluency in canine communication to effectively relate to and guide dogs using natural methods of interaction. Work with dogs in a meaningful way, focusing on behavioral wellness rather than rigid compliance. Collaborate with families to provide tools and techniques that promote healthy relationships between dogs and their owners. Maintain safety and structure by monitoring dog play, ensuring proper socialization, and preventing conflicts. Lead by example as a team player , encouraging positive morale among coworkers and contributing to a cooperative and supportive environment. Take attendance, timeliness, and safety protocols seriously to ensure the well-being of all dogs and staff. Train clients and their dogs, providing tailored solutions and behavioral strategies. Gain exposure to all facets of managing a Dog Wellness Club , including operations and customer service.
What We're Looking For:
Experienced dog handlers who are comfortable working with dogs and are open to learning new approaches based on dog behavior and communication. Motivated leaders with patience, calmness, and confidence around groups of dogs. Individuals who have a strong desire to learn and grow , staying curious about canine behavior and relationship-building techniques. Reliable and trustworthy team players who value punctuality and collaboration. Positive and adaptable problem-solvers who approach challenges with enthusiasm and creativity.
